It’s better to introduce you to the town of Đồng Hới, which is 50 km away from the national park .where this cave is located. we arrived here through a trip to this town. we had a one hour flight from Hanoi to here and after checking into the hotel. we took a walk toward the city center. We spent the entire afternoon trolling around the city. This is a fruit and vegetable market where due to its proximity to the holiday season holiday ecorations are also sold here.
We continued our way way from the riverside until we reached the city museum. This is the museum courtyard and it’s natural that the first thing one notices in any museum in Vietnam is the horrifying artifacts of the Vietnam War. When we entered the museum we were almost the only visitors. We quickly took a tour and snapped some photos. Visually we could distinguish between the two sections of the museum: The section displaying ancient artifacts and the section narrating the Communist Revolution and aftermath of the Vietnam war. The photos and artifacts displayed from the Vietnam War were very prominent and saddening. There, nearby is the big and famous city square called Ho Chi Minh Square, which was decorated to celebrate the start of the new year: the Year of the Dragon! After a short break we went for lunch did some shopping and then returned to the hotel.
